Revenge can be creative, too.  How will you “revenge” a customer who doesn’t pay you for a project that you have spent lots of time to finish it?  Let’s see how an Israeli full-stack software engineer’s fightback in such a situation.

Jason Werner, a block-chain technology programmer, released a project on Github which he had worked for weeks for a non-paying customer as his fight back.  Github is the largest place for open-source software programs, people can clone and use the codes as they like.  So as Jason wrote, “After he (the customer) signed and I started working he decided to pivot and not pay me. Sometimes you get screwed in business but at least now I have a cool boilerplate to give away.”

The project rose to top of Hacker News and top programming project in Github, it is designed to be an app where users receive benefits for paying their rent through the platform as opposed to check or bank transfer.

OneFraction is a platform that gives users rewards for paying rent through it. The value would come from leveraging data to eventually create a rental marketplace, according to the Github description

He might have worked for free on this project, but no doubt he has made a history and will be surely hired to do more profitable projects!
